FAQ
I can't find your prices. Where are they?
All our prices are listed on the individual product infomation pages. Follow the links to products within the KITCHENS or BEDROOMS drop-downs on the top menu line. On most product pages you will need to select the Colour/Finish and Size/Dimensions to see the base price for the product you have selected. As you add features to the product you will see the price update to reflect these. Custom sizes are simply priced on the next size up - there is no additional cost for made to measure items.
Why are your prices so much less than in the high street?
We are an internet based company selling directly to you, our customer. There are no intermediaries to take their cut and no showroom sales staff. The quality and prices of our products sell themselves and require minimal input from ourselves. Also, our volumes are much greater than a typical showroom allowing us greater purchasing power. Normally you, our Customer, can read a tape measure and are quite capable of deciding what you need without a high pressure salesman. We are always here to assist you by email or telephone. There is no compromise on quality and indeed we purchase from the same leading manufacturers that supply many the UK's bigger replacement door organisations.
I don't feel confident to measure up and fit. Can you provide a fully fitted service?
We have recognised that although our pricing is geared to the DIY market there are many potential customers who would like to buy our products but would rather get a skilled fitter to fit them. We have built up a database of the carpenters, joiners and fitters that our customers have used over the past years and would be very happy for you to contact them to provide a comprehensive measuring and fitting service. Please go to the Find a Fitter page for more information and enter your postcode to find a selection near you.
How can I get hold of a brochure?
Please use our Brochures page where our brochures are available for on-line perusal or instant downloading of the pdfs. Alternatively, you can request a copy to be posted to you directly for a small contribution towards the postage costs.

What are the doors made of and what quality are they?
All Bella door products are 18mm vinyl wrapped MDF. The MDF is the top quality premier grade heavy duty which should not warp or bow, particularly important on large doors. Our premier grade, heavy duty MDF (FINSA Certificate available upon request) is consistent through it's thickness and therefore will allow all deep routered designs. The Vinyl wrap is known as a pressure vinyl and is usually between 0.3mm and 0.5mm thick.
All Bella door products are made to withstand the kitchen environment whilst also being suitable for the bedroom. The beauty of their construction is that MDF doesn't ever warp or bow and the vinyl wrap doesn't stain or discolour and can be cleaned with most proprietary non-abrasive kitchen cleaners.

Can you supply glass doors?
Our framed doors are designed to be fitted with glass or acrylic. We can supply the acrylic glazing, which is both lightweight and shatterproof, for some of the smaller apertures. There is a 'glazing required' option where this is available. However, if you want glass you will have to get it locally supplied.
Are your doors and carcasses made-to-measure?
Yes. Although we list all the most popular sized doors and carcasses for your convenience of ordering, they are all actually made-to-measure and made-to-order for your kitchen or bedroom. For doors, if the size required is not listed then enter your exact sizes in the Custom boxes. For carcasses, select the next size up and enter your custom size(s) in the Custom boxes. In both cases the price is based on the nearest standard size up with no added surcharge.
Which direction does the wood grain go?
The wood grain usually runs vertically on doors and horizontally on drawer fronts. You can change the grain direction on Bella and Acrylic Ultragloss doors and drawer fronts simply by selecting Rotate Grain Direction "Yes". Note the maximum height of 1200mm for rotated grain.

We supply doors either drilled or undrilled. Our ordering process will enable you to specify if and where you would like the hinge holes to be.
Do doors come with new hinges?
No, please go to our Handles and Hardware section to order new hinges. However hinges are supplied with our carcasses.
Are the doors supplied with the holes for the handles pre-drilled?
No. Due to the vast choice of handles and knobs available it is not possible for us to offer this service. We would recommend that the position of the handle/knob is not finalised until all the doors are fitted.
