Journey to a New Kitchen

Many people reading this will be new to the concept of replacement kitchen doors, so we wanted to explain the process in a little more detail.  Say you’ve decided to undertake kitchen refurbishment using replacement kitchen doors rather than new kitchen cabinets – how exactly do you get started?

The first step is to decide on the kind of look that you want for your kitchen.  At DIY Homefit we have a wide variety of finished to suit every style and taste.  First of all browse through our gallery here for ideas and inspiration!

Then look further at our replacement doors in one of two fabulous finished!   Our top quality vinyl wrapped finish doors come in 24 designs and 35 colour options. Alternatively have a look at our stunning acrylic ultragloss finish doors in 9 solid colours and 4 woodgrain finishes.  These replacement kitchen doors can also be enhanced by a choice of three detail edge finish options:  Matching – for a solid acrylic look, Brushed Steel – for a contemporary continental feel, and Glass Effect – for a deceptively real glazed appearance.

Once you have chosen your preferred finish, then make a list of the different items you need from our wide range here.  You can then enter these items into the shopping cart on our website;  there are drop down boxes in which to specify the finish and the size of the door.  If a standard size door will not fit then enter the custom height and width in the appropriate boxes – there is NO extra charge for made to measure  sizes.  You will also be given the opportunity to specify whether you want hinge holes and, if so, where they should go.

Once everything you need is in your Shopping Cart you will be able to check out and delivery will be arranged.  Delivery is usually between 5 and 20 working days from our confirmation of supply. We will always give you an indication of expected delivery time as soon as we can and we will update you as it becomes more definite.

If you do not feel confident about fitting the doors yourself we offer a Find a Fitter service!  All you need to do is enter your postcode onto our website and we will provide you with a list of recommended fitters in your area.
