3-2-1 Good Reasons to Take the Garbage Out!
Do you remember that old poem about a young lady called Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout whose main failing in life was not taking the garbage out? Whether this was bloody-mindedness or some kind of phobia is unclear, but the poem starts off in a fairly jovial fashion – “she simply would not take the garbage out” – and ends badly – “Poor Sarah met an awful fate, That I cannot right now relate, Because the hour is much too late. But children, remember Sarah Stout And always take the garbage out.”
If you are want to avoid being buried by rubbish in your kitchen then DIY Homefit have some amazing solutions for you! Kitchen rubbish is becoming very complex area, with increasing demands on homeowners to sort it into different categories for more efficient processing.
You may want to make this easier by having different bins in your kitchen for different types of rubbish or may prefer to keep it altogether at this stage. Either way, DIY Homefit can help. We have three types of unobtrusive kitchen bin product ranges that can be neatly tucked away out of sight.
The number three reminds us of that old TV series 3-2-1, hosted by the inimitable Ted Rogers. For those who don’t remember it, it was a game show that featured a character called Dusty Bin. Contestants had to try to solve clues in order to keep the star prize but eliminate the booby prize, Dusty Bin. If they were unfortunate enough not to eliminate Dusty Bin they then went home with a new bin as their prize.
Fast forward to the present – here are our 3-2-1 bins:
3 bins
This triple bin comes in a range of sizes. It features 3 light grey plastic buckets, each with an integrated handle. One bucket also has lid and integrated filter to control odours. The whole unit is lidded when closed.
2 bins
This double bin also comes in a range of sizes and has two generous capacity buckets with integral handles and fixed lids. It is mounted on both sides with full extension soft-close runners.
1 bin
This bin has an integrated lid which automatically lifts and closes as the bin is manually pulled out and pushed shut. It fits a minimum 300mm wide cabinet and features a single 20 litre dark grey plastic bin, with integrated handle.
Whatever your garbage issues we are confident that one of these products will fit the bill. Unlike 3-2-1, these bins are not the booby prizes and – thankfully – you will avoid being buried in rubbish like Sarah Stout!
